Month old ventings
I found this in my journal last night:
“I miss you, I miss how happy I was with you. I’m trying to be happy-but it’s so damn hard here, without you.
I feel like I can’t be myself here-and this is supposed to be “home” but it really doesn’t feel like it anymore…
I want to come back home.”
So this may have been suring my dark and depressed...

soppy thoughts of distance in relationships
when you think you love someone, try going a substantial period of time without them. Value this time as your own space for houghts and reflection. You will learn more about your relationship, and each other; or at least what you mean to each other, when you’re without one another.
Don’t be put off by your ability to continue your everyday life, which may surprise you. Love...

When I say “I love you,” its not because I want you or because I can’t have you....
– Joss Whedon (via quote-book)
one week
I’ve reached the one week mark…
I’m scared, I don’t want to go home.
There’s nothing telling me to go back, and everything telling me to stay-so why am I going?

Which Guitar Strings Are Best For Classical,... →
Blog post about the most appropriate, and best value for money guitar strings on the market, specific to different styles of guitar.
doelephantslikejalebi asked: Re: Gary Vaynerchuk quote....I don't necessarily have a problem with people finding this inspiring, I do heartily disagree with the ideas therein. For instance, there are plenty of people who love their family and work hard - very, very hard - but will always struggle financially. What would Gary and his ilk say to them? That they're not being 'authentic' enough? This kind of...

Complaints with a Smile
So two times in the past fortnight I’ve gone back to the store where I’d either purchased a pair of gold earrings or in the other case, had my favourite, “old faithful” black stilettos re-soled and heeled. The first instance was because I lost the back stud to one of the earrings and had no idea where I could purchase a back stud without an earring, so I went into the...

Rock Of Ages
So Last night I lost my West End virginity (of the theatrical kind), seeing my first ever musical in London’s famous West End district and also the first theatre show I have seen this year. Might sound insignificant but keep in mind that I’m a girl who practically LIVED at the Newcastle civic theatre and playhouse the past couple of years, working backstage, performing, supporting...

No Business Like Show Business!
I’m going to London tonight to the West End and seeing my first theatre show of the year… pretty crazy considering I used to practically live at the theatre last year. Working, performing or watching. But I guess I kind of dropped all of that pretty much completely this year, and buying the tickets for tonight has made me realise how much I miss it COS I’M SO EXCITED! It may be a...

"I do believe in fairies"
The just 6 year old boy I look after just told me that fairies aren’t real and I got so shocked and tried to convince him otherwise. the tooth fairy idea was the only one he was willing to agree with but i still made him clap his hands and say “i do believe in fairies” J.M. Barrie would be proud of me :)
